Hi! I’m Shanelle.

I come from a long line of very talented cooks and bakers. A lot of my childhood memories are intertwined with food. I can clearly recall standing on my tiptoes on a chair in my grandmother’s kitchen, decorating her famous gingerbread men. I have always enjoyed cooking but over the years baking has become my passion.

You see, it’s like therapy for me.

The most relaxing place in my home is my kitchen and the most serene part of my day is when I’m busy crafting baked goods. I see it as a form of art – to create a scrumptious-tasting, gorgeous-looking cupcake is akin to composing a painting in my book.

But I got tired of eating all of that chocolate by myself.

Can you believe it? Ok, that’s not entirely true. I always wanted to share my morsels with everyone around me, so I would take things anywhere I went. One day a coworker said to me, “You should start a bakery,” and from there the dream began to take form. Two years later, I had that same coworker design the logo for Bliss.

So it’s just me.

I run Bliss all by myself out of my PA state-certified kitchen. I also have my ServSafe license to make sure I’m doing all I can to not only make your treats tasty, but safe as well. I want to grow as a baker and a business woman, so feel free to contact me and let me know what you think I could be doing differently, better, or even smarter.
